Эта неудобная тема сочинения взята с Решу ЕГЭ. Что в ней неудобного? Она слишком общая, слишком философская.

 Поэтому у меня сначала получилось много (338 слов) а ниже вы видите результат сокращения до требуемого объема.

A long time ago the Beatles sang their famous hit ‘Can’t buy me love’. This song definitely supports a common opinion that money cannot buy many important things in this world. However, other people think differently.

In my opinion, many important thing in life are free. I would not go into discussion if they are the best things, I will simply call them important, even basic, or crucial.

First of all, you cannot buy affection. Buying affection would imply paying money for the affection of a certain person. This is really impossible because love and affection always appear on the basis of interaction between the two personalities. Sometimes it is contrast and mutual interest, sometimes it can be common interests and attitudes. What is more, money cannot buy such an important personal quality as intelligence. Money can open doors to best universities, but it cannot buy diligence and hard work. Finally, money cannot buy health. Money can pay the best doctors, but health starts with exercise and reasonable nutrition, which again implies self-discipline and motivation.

On the other hand, many people think that money is everything and can buy everything. Money is a popular measure of personal success, and everyone wants to be rich. Many people think that it is possible to buy love. Actually, we see a lot of examples when a rich man marries a beautiful woman much younger than him, or a rich woman acquires a young husband. Those examples are usually used as a confirmation that money can buy all.

However, I do not agree. If we look at how strong such alliances are and how long they last, we come to a definite conclusion that money cannot buy affection. Such families do not last long, and for me it is just another proof that many basic things cannot be bought for money.

To sum up, I agree with the Beatles and those who think that many crucial things in this life cannot be bought. Money solves many problems, but we cannot buy everything. (338)
